Low power, blow-by, or a knock you can hear from the cab? We diagnose the actual failure and rebuild to factory spec in frame or out on Cummins, Detroit Diesel, PACCAR and CAT.
An engine rarely fails all at once. It starts as a slow oil consumption problem, a hard start on cold mornings, or a derate you keep clearing and hoping goes away. By the time a rod is knocking, you’re no longer choosing between a repair and a rebuild. Bring it to us early and there’s usually a cheaper road: a cylinder head, an injector cup, a turbo, a cam sensor. We find out which before anyone opens a wallet.
When a rebuild is the honest answer, we tell you that too. Our techs run compression and blow-by testing, oil sampling and dealer level diagnostics to establish what’s actually worn, then quote an in-frame or a full out of frame overhaul with the parts list in front of you. Everything is assembled to OEM torque and clearance specs, broken in properly, and road-tested before it leaves the shop. That matters at resale as much as it does next Tuesday.
Tell us the engine, the mileage, and what you’re hearing or seeing. We diagnose the fault and quote it before a wrench moves.

It comes down to what’s worn below the liners. If the block, crank and mains are in good shape, an in-frame gets you liners, pistons, rings, bearings and a head at a lower cost and less downtime. If the crank is scored or the block needs machine work, an out-of-frame is the only rebuild that lasts. We test before we recommend.
An in-frame typically runs several days to a week depending on parts availability; a full out-of-frame takes longer. We give you a realistic date up front rather than an optimistic one, and we update you if anything changes once the engine is open.
Cummins, Detroit Diesel, PACCAR and CAT are our certified platforms, and we work on all major commercial truck engines — including International/MaxxForce, Volvo, Mack, Hino and Isuzu.
Always. We pinpoint the actual fault first and quote clearly — no parts cannon, no surprises.

Some of it. Sensors, injectors, turbos and fuel system work can often be done at your yard with our mobile units. A rebuild needs a lift and a clean shop environment — we’ll tell you which category your job falls into before we dispatch.
