Truck Suspension Repair & Alignment
in Augusta & Savannah, GA

Uneven tire wear is money leaving your fleet one thirty-second at a time. We repair air ride and spring suspensions and dial in axle alignment so tires wear flat, the truck tracks straight, and the driver stops fighting the wheel.

System Overview

Suspension & Alignment

Suspension wear is sneaky: a cracked bushing or leaking air bag changes geometry a little at a time, and the first bill is usually a set of steer tires scrubbed bald on one shoulder. We inspect and repair the full system air bags and height control valves, leaf springs and hangers, shocks, torque rods, bushings, and the kingpins and wheel bearings that steering precision depends on.

Alignment work covers steer and drive axles, set to manufacturer thrust and toe specifications. Aligning a heavy truck without fixing worn components underneath is wasted money, so we correct the suspension first, then align and your tires prove the difference over the next hundred thousand miles.

FAQ

Engine Repair & Rebuild
Questions

Why do my steer tires keep wearing on one edge?
Usually toe or thrust misalignment, often aggravated by worn kingpins or bushings. We inspect the components first aligning over worn parts just wastes the alignment.
We align steer and drive axles to OEM spec and can assess trailer axle tracking issues that cause dog-tracking and drag.
Check alignment annually, after any suspension repair, after hitting something hard, or the moment you see irregular tire wear starting.
On air ride, typically a failed bag or height control valve; on springs, a cracked or settled leaf pack. Either way it’s diagnosable in one visit.
